One Minute
"One Minute" is a visual exploration project of a process of self-dissection. His blood pressure phobia provokes the artist to contemplate the deceptive relationship between people and photography. The artist presents abstract and dreamlike images by visualizing the sound of his heart beating in fear.
He recorded the sound of his heartbeat when he took a blood pressure test seven times, going from nervous to calm. And then let the sound finish the exposure on the photographic paper through a light-emitting medium. He hopes to face his fears and encourage people to face theirs but when the image appears on paper, He finds that it is not a true reproduction of his fears, but a deceptive image that he has created. He still used photography to tell lies and hide his real side of him.
